In the UK context it helps to have the right accent (or at least not the wrong one). Not sure how that works in the US though.

It’s all marketing and positioning just like any other product/service. Creating a brand identity. While FMTY is an option from essentially anywhere, being located in a major metropolitan center gives you easier access to more clients with means.
